Kim Atwood, adjunct faculty member, earned a B.A. in corporate communication from the College of Charleston and a B.S. in business administration. She received her M.M.C. in mass communication (emphasis in public relations/advertising) from the University of Georgia and taught full-time at EC from 2002 to 2004.

Kim now teaches online courses in public speaking, public relations and communication law. She lives in Columbia, S.C., and teaches for the University of South Carolina. She also works as a corporate communications consultant for both for-profit and non-profit organizations across the country. She loves to cook and read, but most of all, enjoys spending time with her husband, Bryan, and children, Nate and Cady.
