“The sport of soccer is my passion and my stepping stone to serve others through Christ. Since coaching at the high school level, my motto has been to "BE DYNAMIC..." - do everything you can, in everything you can, to make a difference with all that Christ has provided for you. Through the years, this motto has emulated more than just ‘soccer.’ It continues to drive me to do the work that God has called me to do. For every player that has gone through our program, they are not prepared for the next step in life with just a foundation of soccer but of value, purpose and commitment to “BE DYNAMIC! It’s not what you WISH for but what you WORK for. If you are not WORKING to IMPROVE, the competition will always be better.”
Coach McCarty currently resides in the Athens area with her husband, Wayne, who is also a teacher and a coach, and their 2 daughters, Lanie Beth (10) and Maryn (5).
