Ningjun (Nina) Ye, assistant professor, received a BS in Computer Science and a BA in English Education from China, and her MS in Mathematics and PhD in Math Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She taught in high school in China for over 10 years and has been teaching in college in the US for another 10 years.
Nina has published some papers on new pedagogical approaches to solving mathematical problems that may be interesting to college students for widening their mathematical knowledge. She is interested in learning to exploit the large quantity of freely available data to produce quality research. She is also interested in combining other nations' educational merits into our teaching methods to produce better generations of students.
She was saved in 2006 in the US. Her favorite scripture is Matt 5:8, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” She and her husband have one son, and her husband is working in China.
