Emmanuel College welcomes the newest local chapter of Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta), a national honor society for biology students.
Founded in 1922 with more than 550 chapters to date, TriBeta is dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research.
“TriBeta recognizes the very best science students at Emmanuel College and gives these outstanding students another outlet to serve the campus and community,” says Dr. Brian Peek, Chair of Natural Sciences at Emmanuel.
“Currently, we have graduates completing doctoral degrees in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and environmental science at more than seven schools across the country,” he adds. “We are very proud of our graduates who have completed their graduate studies and are now serving their communities at home as well as medical missionaries.”
In addition to biology, Emmanuel offers bachelor’s degrees in pre-professional studies for medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and other graduate programs as well as an associate of science degree in allied health.
