What is the Emmanuel Prepaid Card?
This Discover® backed Prepaid Debit Card is a pre-paid signature debit card accepted online and at Discover® merchants worldwide. Your Discover® Prepaid Debit Card is not a credit card and you are not opening a checking account. Starting Fall of 2011 it is automatically issued to all students currently enrolled at Emmanuel and is the primary way that any financial aid refunds or work-study payments are delivered to students. This free and convenient service for all students is designed to streamline our process for delivering funds to students, helping us "go green" as we shed paper check processing. The card is also loadable, which means students or students' families can place money on it that can be used to purchase books, food, gas, or practically anything from merchants that accept Discover®! It is important that every Emmanuel Student receive, activate, and hold on to the Emmanuel Prepaid card during their entire career as an Emmanuel College Student.
How do I get started?
Within a few weeks after you register for your first semester of classes, you will receive your Emmanuel Prepaid Debit Card in a plain white envelope through the US mail at the address on record with your school. Once you receive your Emmanuel Prepaid Debit Card, follow the enclosed instructions and immediately activate your card.To do this, visit www.Acceluraid.com/EC and click the Activate My Card button. You can also activate by phone by calling the toll-free number printed on the back of your card and following the recorded instructions. Either way, once you have activated your card, it is ready to use.
Are there fees associated with using my Discover® Prepaid Debit Card?
There are no charges for your FDIC-insured account or when electronically transferring funds to another account. It may take 2-3 days for those funds to become available at the recipient bank. There are also no charges for using your Emmanuel Prepaid Debit Card to withdraw funds at Pinnacle Bank's ATM.

Where can I view my cards’ transaction history?
You will find it easy to use the www.Acceluraid.com/EC web site where you can view the transaction history showing when you used your Emmanuel Prepaid Debit Card. Take a tour of the site to learn how you can transfer funds, authorize relatives to be able to send money to you, use a credit card to load funds, and more.
Do I have to activate my Discover® backed Emmanuel Prepaid Debit Card in order to use my excess financial aid funds or my work-study payments?
Yes, you must activate your Emmanuel Prepaid Debit Card before you can access the funds.
Can I ask my non Emmanuel College employer to deposit my paycheck to my Discover® Card?
Yes, you can give your employer the Bank Routing Number, 103 100 195, and your Online Account Number (OAN) for the checking account number so your payroll funds can be electronically deposited to your Emmanuel Prepaid Debit Card -- saving you a trip to the bank or finding a place to cash the check.
What do I need to do if I lose my Discover® Prepaid Debit Card?
Report it by calling 866-932-9579. We will immediately “lock” your Emmanuel Prepaid Debit Card which means it can’t be used anywhere as a financial card. Your school will not be notified of your lost card since it is produced by our financial partner. It will remain locked until you contact us to let us know you either found it or you request a replacement card. If you find your card, we can immediately “unlock” your card and you will not have to get a replacement card. If you report your card lost, we will order a replacement Emmanuel Prepaid Debit Card for you and you should receive your new card within 3 to 4 business days. There is a charge of $10.00 for the replacement Emmanuel Prepaid Debit Card.
What if I forget my PIN number?
Call the toll-free number printed on the back of your card, 7 days a week - 24 hours a day. Your PIN can be reset after verifying that you are the owner of the card. If you can’t answer the security questions, then you will have to report the card lost and request a replacement.
Does this card get reported to the credit bureau?
No, all information is kept confidential and only used by Heartland Campus Solutions (HCS) in providing this service to your school and you.
Will my personal information be shared with or given to other companies?
No, we do not share any personal information with other parties. See our policy statement in your Cardholder Agreement.
I want to pay my landlord and utility bill; can I do that without paper checks?
Simple, pay faster and easier by logging into www.Acceluraid.com/EC and click on “Bill Payment - The Easy Way” then select who you want to pay and how. You can send them a paper check or pay electronically directly from your computer. You will be asked to sign up and agree to the small fee for this service. Questions?
