Jennifer Benson is dean of the School of Business and associate professor in the Communication Department, where she serves as department chair. She received her B.F.A. with honors in drama from Carnegie Mellon University and her M.F.A. in dramatic media from the University of Georgia. Before coming to Emmanuel in 2004, she worked for CNN, DreamWorks Pictures, and as a newspaper reporter and photographer. She teaches courses in introduction to communication, video production, film, and theater. She was the director of EC’s spring productions 2005-2008. She is a former Governor’s Teaching Fellow and CCCU Leadership Development Institute Fellow and serves on the executive board for the Georgia Communication Association.
