Emmanuel Arts Academy gears up for fall semester classes, which run September 9 – December 6 at Emmanuel College.
Students of all ages have the opportunity to learn through private or group instruction. Private lessons are available for all ages and levels of ability in piano, voice, guitar, drums, violin, brass and woodwinds, or music theory and composition. Group classes are in band, musical theatre/voice, and kids art exploration.
New this year is group band class for ages 8-18 to introduce students to the exciting world of concert band through instruction on traditional concert band instruments, including woodwind, brass-wind, and percussion.
The musical theatre/voice class for ages 6-16 covers basics in theatrical singing, voice production and technique, dramatic presentation, stage etiquette, dance movement and audition techniques.
The kids art exploration class for kindergarten – 5th grade covers art elements involving drawing, a combination of mixed-mediums as well as color pencils and watercolors.
All Emmanuel Arts Academy students have the opportunity to display their talent Fall Student Recital & Art Show on December 9.
Classes and private lessons are taught by Emmanuel College Music Department student instructors, affiliate instructors or Emmanuel faculty members. Prices vary by class and private lessons based on the level of instructor.
