Emmanuel Arts Academy offers its eighth Fine Arts Summer Camp for ages 8-14 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily on the campus of Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Ga. This year’s theme is “Awesome in this Place.”
The camp provides professional instruction in music (piano, guitar, voice and band), musical theatre, drama, art (drawing & printmaking), creative writing, dance, and photography.
In addition to fine arts training, students engage in morning worship, recreation and games. Tuition is $150 ( or $165 after May 20) and includes lunch, morning snack and a T-shirt. Registration will remain open until camp enrollment is filled. The final showcase program will be on Friday, June 6, at 5 p.m.
“Some of my most talented students and performers in the community began their training in our Fine Arts Camp. Each year I am excited by the new talent emerging and can’t wait to see their growth develop from year to year and work with them personally,” says Dr. Deborah Stark, Director.
Campers as well as camp instructors also look forward to it each year.
“Fine Arts Camp offers a unique opportunity for students to enrich their understanding of the arts and cultivate their creativity while having fun,” says Chloe Payne, Arts Academy student voice instructor. “Seeing the joy on their faces as they learn to express themselves is so rewarding. At the basis of art is self-expression, and as believers we are able to glorify our Creator by being creative.”
