Why a Degree in Diversified Agriculture?
Emmanuel's Diversified Agriculture Department offers students the opportunity to explore, gain hands on experiences, and develop into agriculture leaders and contributors to the number one industry in the state of Georgia-Agriculture. Agribusiness has an economic impact of over $70 billion dollars in Georgia and even more in surrounding states. Sixteen percent of Georgia’s employment base is in Agriculture. Each of our graduates are required to complete an agriculture internship, research project, and agriculture service activity. Our goal is that students will have the hands on knowledge of agriculture production to supplement an outstanding academic program and become industry leaders.
