To be considered as a minor in Communication Studies, students must meet these requirements:
• complete EN 101, EN 102 and CM 130 with a grade of “C-” or higher;
• hold a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 or higher.
In addition to completion of the Liberal Arts Core and completion of the requirements for a major in another area, the following courses must be taken to qualify for a Communication Studies Minor. There can be no duplication of course work in this minor. Therefore, if any of the following courses are required by one’s major, additional courses will need to be completed for a total of 17 hours of credit for the minor. Where there are prerequisites, they must be met. A grade a “C-” or higher is required for each course taken in this minor.
