Paula Dixon, associate professor, received her B.S. and M.A. in communication arts from Austin Peay State University. After working five years in public relations, she began teaching at Emmanuel College in 1995. “It is my pleasure to worship the Lord in my work at Emmanuel,” Dixon says. “I love helping my students learn, and I strive to create an atmosphere where we can share and learn from each other.” She teaches courses in introduction to communication, desktop publishing, digital photojournalism and business communication, and coordinates internships and senior projects. Dixon serves as publication editor for the Georgia Communication Association and as public relations team leader at Riverside Church. Paula and her husband, Chris, have three children.
