Glenn has been the Director of Information Technology (ITec) at Emmanuel College since 1993. He graduated from Emmanuel (Junior) College with an AA degree in 1983. In 1985, Glenn completed his Bachelors of Science degree in Math and Computer Science at the University of Georgia. Glenn worked at the University of Georgia at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education for 6 year as a software developer and support specialist before coming back to EC as Information Technology Director.
At Emmanuel, he has built the local area network and telephone network. In 2008 he headed a campus wide wireless project that was featured in several technology and educational journals. Glenn designed and developed many of the school administration software systems including the college website and campus resources information system (CRIS).
Glenn is a member of the Franklin Springs PH Church where he serves as treasurer, sings on the praise team and manages the church finances. Glenn serves as a treasurer on the Ed Bryant Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides grants for the Franklin County Georgia School system. He also serves as secretary of the Royston-Franklin Springs Rotary club.
Glenn is married to another 1983 EC graduate, Donna David and they have two children, April (17) and Bethany (13). Together, Glenn & Donna, spend their time traveling, attend football games to watch April & Bethany dance halftime shows, go to gymnastics meets to watch Bethany compete, and sing on the church praise team with April.
Glenn states, "Technology is a tool that enables us to be more productive, enhances our college's mission and expands our witness as Christians to the whole world."
