Ningjun (Nina) Ye, assistant professor, received a BS in Computer Science and a BA in English Education from China, and her MS in Mathematics and PhD in Math Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She taught in high school in China for over 10 years and has been teaching in college in the US for another 10 years.
Sharon Keller is a lifelong resident of Madison County. She received an AS in Biotechnology from Athens Technical College, a BS and PhD from the University of Georgia in Cellular Biology. Her graduate work involved studying the inositol phosphate/diacylglycerol signaling pathway in Trypanosoma brucei, the etiological agent of African sleeping sickness. Her graduate work was supported by two different NIH fellowships and an award from the Atlanta chapter of the Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) foundation. Christina has a B.S. in Athletic Training from the University of Central Florida. She completed her M.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training from the University of Georgia. She has been a certified Athletic Trainer for 4 years with experience in division 1 collegiate athletics, high school as well as a local orthopedic clinic.
Gail was born and raised in Rahway, NJ and lived in the North East most of her life. Her undergraduate degree is in History from Kean University (NJ) and her MBA is from the University of Phoenix. Gail has been married for 8 years to Richard Wallach and has three daughters; Olivia (6), Evelyn (4) and Avery (1). "We are both blessed and excited to be a part of the EC community!”
Jeff Kilgore, a 2004 graduate of Emmanuel College, returns to Franklin Springs to lead the Lions Baseball Program. He enters his seventh year in the coaching ranks with stints at West Hall High School and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. When asked about being named Head Baseball Coach Kilgore said “I am excited about the opportunity to come back and lead the Lion baseball program. Mackenzie "Mac" Dye graduated from Emmanuel College in May 2013 with a degree in Multimedia Communication. He is excited about his new role here as Admissions Recruiter. As Emmanuel College continues to grow and our campus expands, we have seen many great changes in recent years. For Fall Semester 2013, we are revising our calendar to accommodate these improvements.
In addition to completing the requirements of the liberal arts core and the requirements for a major in another area, the following courses must be taken to qualify as an Theater minor. There can be no duplication of course work in this minor. If any of the following courses are required by one’s major, additional courses will need to be taken for a total of 18 hours of credit for the minor. A grade of “C-“ or higher in each course is required.
