Brief Testimonial: I have been saved since 1973. I have always valued what God has done for me personally and it is my utmost desire to integrate the faith I’ve been so graciously given with students’ learning experiences, and I have that opportunity here at Emmanuel. I am the father of two children-- Joanna , 28, and John III, 21. Joanna is a 2003 Emmanuel Graduate in Biblical Studies and has recently completed her Master’s Degree in Biblical History and Geography from Jerusalem University College while living in Israel, and is now home working as a part-time librarian at Emmanuel while looking to engage in a PhD program down the road. John III is a senior Politics major with a concentration in East Asian studies at Washington and Lee University in Virginia. He is hoping to spend a year in Japan after he graduates before he goes to graduate school. And last, but not least, I have a wonderful godly wife, Judy, who is teaching history on a part-time basis here at Emmanuel and at Athens Technical College, while working as a medical billing agent for Dr. Beverly Oxley, professor of Psychology at Emmanuel and local child psychologist.
Gregg Thomas, assistant professor, received a Bachelor of General Studies from Armstrong State College and an MBA from Georgia Southern University. He has extensive industry experience in production planning and control and is a member of the Decision Sciences Institute and APICS. His teaching and research interests include operations management, quality management, lean management, Six Sigma, enterprise resource planning, master scheduling, shop floor control, material requirements planning, supply chain management, project management, and business education. “I am excited to work with Emmanuel College students, faculty and staff. I love being in the classroom and being a guide to a student’s business education and faith journey. I also look forward to the memorable connections I will make [here] at Emmanuel.”
