Athletic Uniforms
All game day athletic uniforms MUST contain some combination of both primary colors Red (Pantone 202) and Gold (Pantone 130). When other jersey colors are required, the Red and Gold both must be used on the jersey. See page six for the logo color options available on different color jerseys. Other appropriate uses of the secondary colors would include accessories such as pants, gloves, stripes, socks, etc. It is important to keep the primary colors front and center, so there is no confusion about the collegiate colors of the institution.
The approved athletic logos are the Emmanuel Lion and the Emmanuel E. As previously noted, the Emmanuel Athletic Wordmark must also be included on the garment or hat.
All uniform designs must be submitted to the Emmanuel Brand Committee for approval before purchase. The purpose of this requirement is to maintain continuity between the athletic brand and the institutional brand.
Specialized uniforms to support a specific cause may also be purchased and worn with the permission of the Brand Committee. Examples would include pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month or camouflage for Military Appreciation Day
Athletic Warm-ups
Just as with the athletic uniforms, all game day warm-up attire must contain some combination of the primary colors Red and Gold. It is necessary for there to be color consistency between the warm-ups and the uniforms so there is no confusion about the true collegiate colors of the institution. The secondary colors Black, White, Blue and Gray may be used for pants, hoodies, etc. However, please refer to page six for color options.
The only exception to this rule is for one color screen-printing or embroidery, such as on t-shirts or fleece pullovers. Red or Gold cannot stand alone against a Black or Blue background because this can cause confusion about the primary colors of Emmanuel. Appropriate background colors for one color printing are the secondary colors Gray and White. Please refer to page six for these color options.
All warm-up attire designs must be approved by the Brand Committee before purchase. Other color combinations may be approved by the Brand Committee for special occasions, or due to extenuating circumstances.
Other Athletic Apparel
Other athletic apparel, such as promotional t-shirts, polo shirts, practice attire, camp t-shirts, or other specialty clothing or merchandise must adhere to the same color guidelines as outlined in the previous section and must be approved by the Brand Committee before purchase.
