Coach Forrest Wimberly has been announced as the new women's soccer coach at Emmanuel College. Athletic Director Mike Bona introduced Coach Wimberly to the EC women's team at a team meeting April 8. Wimberly immediately started his coaching duties conducting a finishing session with the team that afternoon.

TJ Rosene is entering his third year as the EC men’s head basketball coach. He is beginning his seventh year as a head coach in the SSAC. Rosene’s first year at EC was one for the ages. The Lions took their first trip ever to the NAIA National Tournament in Kansas City.

Derrick Mason, who had been an assistant coach on the basketball staff at Elbert County High School for the previous five seasons, joined the Lions coaching staff in a similar capacity in August of 2009. A native of Atmore, AL., Mason is the son of Harold and Pat Mason. Mason’s tenure as a coach began as a lay coach at Elbert County High School. During his tenure there he served under previous head coach, Brian Turner and present head coach Larry Brown.
