Philip Cortese was born & raised on South Florida. He received a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Western Carolina University & a Masters in Education degree from the University of Georgia. He has over 16 years of professional work experience in higher education, and has served as a church administrator, psychotherapist, school teacher and coach. He has been married for over 25 years and have 9 children. His current duties at Emmanuel include Coordinating Student Activities, Providing Commuter Student Services, Developing the New Student Orientation program, plus facilitating Student Organizations and Student Leadership Development.
