Leo began working in the Information Technology department in 1999, the same year he received a B.S.Ed. in Business Administration with a minor in Information Systems from Emmanuel College. Native to former Yugoslavia, Leo came to the United States in 1993 via a foreign exchange program during his senior year of high school. It was during this time that he was recruited to play basketball at Emmanuel College, a blessing that had led to many wonderful years as both a student and employee.
Leo is an A+ certified professional as well as a Microsoft certified professional. Currently, he is an Information Technology Support Specialist working with faculty, staff and students to meet technological needs. His support involves network, computer, printer, copier, telephone and cell phone services.
Additionally, Leo is the assistant men’s basketball coach for the Emmanuel Lions. As a former Lion, he brings unique experience and a desire to help young men, both on and off the court.
Leo resides in Franklin Springs with his wife, Brittan and their many pets. He is a member of the Royston-Franklin Springs Rotary club and serves on the Leadership Franklin Committee of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. Leo enjoys hiking, traveling, basketball, and spending time with family and friends.
