As Emmanuel College grows, its leadership and faculty remain focused on maintaining strong academic programs. One of the key factors in preserving and building these programs is the professors’ involvement and connection with their area of study.
In the last few months, EC professors Dr. Jeremiah Winter and Dr. Rihana Williams Mason were published in respected journals in their chosen fields. Their respective research projects, conducted with a team of colleagues, have made their way to both print and online platforms.
Dr. Winter, Assistant Professor of Biology, was published online in late January by the American Journal of Physiology on Cell Physiology website. Later, the article was printed in the May 2011 edition of the journal. His research focuses on how ERK and AKT signaling pathways function through parallel mechanisms to promote mTORC1 signaling.
