“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty; But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” -2 Corinthians 3:17-18
Vision: The Revive dance team aspires to ignite the fire of God, reviving our audience in worship through various forms of dance.
Ministry: We minister to the Emmanuel College student body, church congregations, street outreaches and other dance projects.
Members: The team consists of Christian men and women who attend Emmanuel College.
Purpose: (1) To learn how to praise and worship God through various forms of dance, to concentrate on the biblical significance of liturgical dance, and to use dance as a medium to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (2) To use the spiritual gifts that God has equipped us with to glorify Him as a unique giver of talents.
Goals: (1) To demonstrate that God and His people are not bound to one worship style, (2) To revive the worship expression of “Karar” demonstrated throughout the Bible, (3) To allow God’s freedom and our passion to be portrayed through dance.
