Dennis LeRoy Duncan is serving the Emmanuel College (EC) community as the Assistant Athletic Director. His primary duties include serving as the Sport’s Information Director, Director of the Student Activity Center, and mentor of the EC Intramurals program. His previous EC service positions include a five-year period as the Office Manager for the Campus Information Systems department, and a five-year period as the Director of Procurement.

Dennis is a 1975 graduate of Marietta High School and the Washington County Joint-Vocational School (Marietta, Ohio). He retired from the United States Air Force in 1995.  Dennis holds a “Master Transportation Manager” rating and is a certified “Master Instructor” with the Community College of the Air Force.  He earned the “Aerospace Management” certificate in 1985, and the Associates of Applied Science in Production Management in 1994. Dennis graduated “Magna Cum Laude” with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Emmanuel College in 2002 and completed a Master of Science in Human Services with Capella University in the spring of 2007. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in familial intervention.

Dennis is married to the former Connie Marie Tyson of Beverly, Ohio. They recently celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary.

Dennis and Connie have one daughter, Erika Faith Duncan-Acosta.  Erika is a 2000 graduate of Emmanuel College.
