Laurie H. Lewis, assistant professor of Education, holds an A.A. from Truett-McConnell College, a B.S. in early childhood education from Brenau University, M.Ed. in elementary education (reading concentration) from Clemson, Ed.S. in educational administration and supervision from Lincoln Memorial University and Ed.D. in educational leadership from Georgia Southern University. She came to EC with 16 years of teaching experience in the public school system and holds certification in several areas. She also has experience as an assistant professor of graduate studies at Piedmont College’s School of Education.
