Let’s hit the links for the annual Sherm Smith Memorial Golf Tournament on Thursday, March 23 at Highland Walk Golf Course! Lunch will be served at 11a.m. and the tournament will begin at noon! CLICK HERE for more information and to register!
Homecoming events kick into high gear on Friday (March 24) with the Lions Tennis team (Men & Women) taking on conference foe, Lees McRae at 1p.m.! Check out the new courts above Stephens Field and cheer the Lions to victory!
By 5:30 p.m. on Friday, the quad will become a festive rendition of a Caribbean get-away. Enjoy the cuisine and festive atmosphere. There will be inflatables for the kids as well as other games and activities for everyone. We will dine outside on the quad, meeting and greeting our friends whom we have not seen in a long time.
The Men’s Volleyball team will square off against Lees McRae in a conference match on Friday at 7 in the Shaw Athletic Center! Show your Lion Pride and cheer the Lions to victory!
Worship with us around the fire pit at Wellons Plaza on Friday night at 8p.m. and enjoy some coffee and conversation!
If you want a good laugh and some wholesome fun, join your alumni buddies at the Rotondo Bowling Lanes in the Shaw Athletic Center at 8:30 p.m. on Friday!
If Corn hole is more of your style, we will be hosting a tournament at the same time (8:30p.m.) in the Shaw Athletic Center! Come show us your skills!
The Golden Grads will meet for their annual meeting on Saturday, March 25 at 8:30 a.m. in the Shaw Athletic Center. The classes of 1972 and 1973 will be inducted this year. Seeing old friends and catching up is a highlight of the Golden Grads gathering. Breakfast will be provided.
Visit the Emmanuel Agriculture Greenhouse at 10a.m. on Saturday for a spring sale! It’s about time to get your porch ready for Spring, so why not stop and shop for some ferns, flowers, and plants while on campus and support one of our fastest growing programs!
At noon on Saturday, all alumni will gather for the annual Awards Luncheon. In addition to the delicious meal and fellowship, the President’s Award, the Alumnus of the Year Award, and the Medallion Award will be presented. Also, updates will be provided regarding future plans for the College!
The Lions are back in action on Saturday at 1p.m. with a conference match against King!
The Lady Lions take to the diamond on Saturday for a doubleheader against UNC Pembroke at 1p.m. and 3p.m. Join us!
At 1:30p.m. on Saturday, we’ll have inflatables, games, and other activities set up on the Quad for kids of all ages!

On Saturday at 2:00 p.m., we invite you Hall of Fame inductees and their families to join us for a reception in the Shaw Athletic Center.
Following the reception at 3:00 p.m., new members will be inducted into the Emmanuel College Hall of Fame. These outstanding Lions will be honored not only for their athletic achievements but also for their life and career accomplishments.
Come out and cheer on the Lady Lions Lacrosse team at 6p.m.!
Alumni and friends will gather at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday for a special time of fellowship, celebration, and worship. The program will feature the Emmanuel Singers and other talented individuals from our campus family. The musical program is always a highlight of Homecoming so don’t miss it.
Homecoming 2023 concludes on Sunday morning with a special worship service at the Springs Church. Service begins at 10:30 a.m. Many alums over the years made the Springs Church their place of worship during their time at Emmanuel. There’s no more appropriate way to end the Homecoming celebration than to worship together and honor our Lord who has blessed Emmanuel College and its family over a century of service.
