Serving is an important part of our campus culture.
At Emmanuel College, we call this EC Serve.
“Service to others is a natural outgrowth of our Christian walk, regardless of career paths,” EC President Ron White says. “May we never tire of doing good.”
EC Serve is all that and more:
- Doing humanitarian work in the name of Jesus
- Linking with people and organizations already serving
- Serving with specialty ministries
- Serving to become a crucial and critical part of our witness
- Incorporating Emmanuel’s mission statement into EC Serve
- Touching and changing lives for eternity
Recent examples include international mission trips to Myanmar, Alaska, Ecuador, and regional trips to Myrtle Beach, Moorhead City, NC, and Atlanta. Our students also participate in local community service projects.C

Emmanuel College has been honored many years to be named to the U.S. President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. Our students, faculty and staff invest countless hours in serving others in our local communities, in other states and other countries.
EC Serve is the heart of who we are and what we do at Emmanuel College. Ephesians 2:10 explains it well: “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
