The English minor is 15 credits and can be completed alongside any major at Emmanuel. The course choices are flexible so that you can design your own emphasis. English minors take one 200-level literature course (in addition to the literature course required in the general education core) and four upper-level English courses.
An English minor equips a student with writing, critical analysis, and communication skills that would be beneficial in many careers. Students at Emmanuel often pair an English minor with psychology, business, biology, and history, but it could be added to any major offered at Emmanuel.
